Absolutely wonderful service! The food is perfect every time as are the deliveries. They often change up the menu so for folks like us, who depend on the every day of the week, there is always something new to try. If you are busy and have no time to prepare meals, these guys are the hands down answer.
Ordered some meals after my mom had surgery..I am from out of state, they were very helpful and prompt with answering all the questions I had..my family said the meals were great and had great portion size..would definitely recommend their meals! Yes. The food is tasty. Yes. The food is fresh. Yes. The service is prompt and courteous. But. There’s something more. After I left a review about the zucchini noodles in a dish being flavorful but becoming watery upon heating the dish, they offered that in an effort not to overcook them and so have them get too soft, they suggested it might help to heat them separately. A reasonable, helpful solution. It showed me they care and are paying attention to their customers. This is not a way out of town, too big, purely commercial business but a small one out to make me happy. And they do. I will continue to give them my business!
I work 80+ hours a week. I am sick of eating out. I finally feel like I am eating real food. Every meal I have had has been delicious! I am very happy to have found a local company. Meals are relatively large. I have a healthy appetite and each meal is like 1.5 servings for me. Just made my second order, a little pricey (compared to others) but totally worth it.
In a pandemic when eating at home and ordering from local restaurants gets old fast, I found Dinners at Your Door via a web search, and it was exactly what I did not know I needed! Fresh made gourmet type meals that were delicious, affordable, and easy to heat and eat. I loved every meal from steak to lasagna rolls. It made dinner time easy, delivery was a breeze (no fedex boxes to deal with) and I would love to see them expand appetizers and dessert choices.
This is my go-to alternative since Galley has degraded and then shut down their services. Their options are a little pricey, but their quality is nice. A lot of different options too. Their service is something else too. I really enjoyed their apricot chicken and stuffed butternut squash dish, but at some point was removed from their menu. I let them know that I want them back on the menu, and they were back within a day. Awesome service. Their lobster stuffed ravioli is delicious too. They don't have any subscription service and usually you have to pay around 20$ for delivery fees which is unfortunate. But sometimes they have a free delivery deal which only requires you to order a little more food. For those who don't need as much food in one order may that the delivery fee is too much for what they're getting.
I ordered from Dinners At Your Door a few weeks ago. Friends who live in the Bethesda area were both in quarantine as they were Covid-19+. Amy was able to recover at home but her husband Dave was in the hospital. I wanted to help - I love to feed people, but wasn't sure what I could do from across the country. I was so happy to discover Dinners At Your Door! I spoke directly with them and explained the situation and they helped me select which meals would work the best with the least amount of effort. David was released on Tuesday and the meals arrived on Wednesday. I ordered 10 entrees/salads which were easily stretched to feed them nearly 20 portions. They were so grateful and thrilled! Although I am unable to report first hand how the meals tasted they told me they were delicious! Thank you DAYD for helping me take care of my friends!
Dinners At Your Door delivered on their promise, big time. I needed to get food delivered for my mom due to the coronavirus (she lives alone and is in her 70s), and Dinners At Your Door was incredibly friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with (text message or email). The food arrived right on time and my mom said that it is delicious (she loved the Crab Cakes and the Salmon entrees). There is no "subscription" or other nonsense, just place an order online anytime and they will deliver for you too. Thank you!!! We will definitely order again. Update Sept 2023 - another delicious order with customer service that was truly above and beyond. Thank you!!
